How to Use
- Removetherelease film and stretch the tape by 200%, wrap in a half-overlap manner around the target area for insulation/waterproofing. Add an outer protective layer of PVC adhesive tape for enhanced durability.
ETHYLENE PROPYLENE RUBBER SELF-ADHESIVE TAPE
Characteristic
- ·The special rubber tape made of EPR polymer material has good self-adhesive and waterproof properties. After wrapping, the insulation layer is integrated and not easy to fall off, with good sealing, excellent weather resistance and aging resistance.
Intended Applications
- ·Main insulation restoration of 600-69000V solid dielectric cables. Primary insulation restoration with stress cones on solid dielectric cables up to 35000 volts.
Storage Requirements
- 30 months shelf life from production date. Store at room temperature in ventilated, indoor, and shaded conditions.
Product Specification

Technical Parameters
| Total | Tensile Strength | Elongation at Break | Breakdown | Volume Resistivity | Dielectric | Dielectric Loss |
| Thickness | (Longitudinal) | (Longitudinal) | Strength | (20°C) | Constant | Tangent |
| 0.8mm | ≥1.0Mpa | ≥800% | ≥20KV/mm | ≥1X1014 | ≤5.0 | ≤0.05 |
How to Use
- Wheninuse, it should be folded and wrapped until the desired thickness is reached. The tape should be stretched by about 200% before use. In critical areas, the tape should be stretched to the point of rupture. This will not change its physical or electrical characteristics. In less critical areas, there is no need to extend it for such a long time. Store in a cool and dry environment.
